FROM THE PHILIPPINES TO DC

About Audrey

Originally from the Philippines, Audrey founded Frost & Flourish by skillfully balancing her culinary passion with family life.

Growing up in her grandmother's kitchen and influenced by Duff Goldman's "Ace of Cakes," Audrey moved to Virginia to enroll in the pastry program at the former Art Institute of Washington.

She honed her skills at Brabo by Robert Wiedmaier, Liberty Tavern, and Eventide, and also played a key role in launching a bakery in North Beach, MD.

Transitioning to corporate hotel kitchens, she uncovered her talent for creating chocolate showpieces and luxury wedding cakes.

Audrey trained under the guidance of Maggie Austin, and at L'ecole Valrhona in Brooklyn, NY.

Audrey is also part of the Tiny Wedding Collective vendor team, crafting exquisite and true-to-you wedding experiences on a smaller scale.

FAMILY FIRST

FAMILY FIRST

Audrey, baker and owner of Frost and Flourish with her family

Audrey adores her Frost & Flourish team–her family! Everyone in her family contributes to this rapidly growing area favorite.

“We are that crazy family who went all in on starting a bakery in a tough restaurant industry. My cake-baking revolves around my kid's schedules often working late at night while everyone sleeps.”

It’s a joint effort to make these delicious works of art. From realistic sugar flowers to replicating Van Gogh's "Starry Night", Frost & Flourish is a family effort!
